The Chief Minister of Punjab Capt. Amarinder Singh has submitted his resignation to the Governor of Punjab.
Amrinder Singh had earlier called the President of Congress and informed him about his decision to quit.
He, while addressing the press, said, ‘he felt humiliated.’ Capt. Amarinder Singh will decide his future course of action after consulting supporters.
Punjab is scheduled to face the assembly election next year.
The resignation has come amidst the bitter feud between Navjot Singh Sidhu and Capt. Amarinder Singh.
