Delhi Police continues to use the Chinese App which the Govt of India banned citing a threat to national security

Delhi Police’s delinquency has come to the fore once again. It continues to use the banned mobile application ’CamScanner’ for its official purposes.

Delhi Police in one its latest notification, dated 28th July 2021, has uploaded the document scanned with the banned app ’CamScanner’ on their website.

’CamScanner’ is a Chinese mobile App which the Govt of India had banned along with other Chinese applications following the deadly military conflict with China in Galwan river Valley.

The application was banned citing a threat to the national security and sovereignty of Indi in June 2020.

The act on part of the Delhi Police which is entrusted with maintaining law and order in the national is violative of the Govt’s directive.
