Olympic Gold Medalist Neeraj Chopra was subjected to sexualisation once again by a female interviewer and has suitably attracted the ire of users on social.
This time a female Radio Jockey named Malishka Mendonsa, working for a radio channel, Red FM, carried out a foppish act before interviewing the Olympic Medalist via Zoom.
The female RJ ostentatiously posted the video on Twitter. She also offered a virtual hug to Neeraj Chopra’s discomfort, who benignly seen folding hands.
Malishka Mendonsa gyrating to a Bollywood song did not go down well with the citizens. They slammed the female RJ for the act and pointed out the rampant objectification of male athletes by female actors.
Neeraj Chopra was, correspondingly, discomfited by another female anchor of an English news channel, Times Now, in one of the interviews.
Neeraj Chopra is hailed for winning the Gold in Tokyo Olympics and seen occupying the TV screens in the country.
Some users have also tried to instil a sense of behaviour against an Army man. Her act has also raised a question on the biased gender laws of the land.
Here are some of reactions

Akancha Srivastava, ‘If the gender is reversed.’
Arnaz Hathiram, ‘it would have cost the job to a man.’
Remy Fernandes, ‘don’t objectify.’
