A 12-year-old boy was brutally murdered, on 8th August, in Ghazipur village of the Fatehpur district of Uttar Pradesh. The family members of the boy accuse some people of the village of the murder.
As per information, 12-year-old, Vinay Singh Yadav, was a resident of Ghazipur village in Fatehpur district who on 8th August, had gone to the farmland carrying food for his father on a bicycle. Vinay Yadav then returned home and left his cycle to wander through the village. The next day on August 9, his dead body was found lying in a field in the village.
The deceased father, Virendra Singh, told ‘The Democratic Mirror’ that his son was ruthlessly murdered, and he had named some people in his complaint to the Police. But, the Police has so far not arrested any of the accused.
While narrating the whole incident, Vinay’s father, Virendra Singh, said, he on 8th August, cast about his son in the entire village but to no avail. The following day Virendra Singh’s elder brother Ram Singh visited the Kisanpur Police station to register a missing complaint about Vinay Yadav.
Only to their horror, Vinay Yadav’s dead body was found in the field of Shashi, a resident of the same village, who broke this grief to them.
The local Police arrived on the spot and took the body in their possession. They later sent it for post mortem and assured them of an investigation. Vinay’s dead body was handed over to the relatives after the post mortem for cremation. However, despite repeated requests and demands, no action has been taken against the accused by the Police.
Virendra Singh survives by farming on a small piece of land, he owns and has little financial means to go through a legal tussle to bring justice to his late son. The family members are traumatised after the murder of their son.
Vinay’s father, Virendra Singh, has written to SP (Superintendent of Police) of Fatehpur District seeking a fair probe into the murder of his son. The family also fear for their lives as the named accused have not been arrested yet.
