Though Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar stood by Karnal’s SDM but differed on the SDM’s selection of words, he used while rendering instructions. While his deputy, Dushyant Chautala, castigated the SDM and sought to initiate an action against him.

Dushyant Chautala also drew a parallel to the SDM’s clarification of not having slept for two days by retorting how even a farmer stays awake for 200 days in a year. He also questioned the modes Operandi of farmers and underlined how their protests had become hostile, leading to an altercation with the policemen.

Framers have continued their protests against the farm’s law of the centre and made blocked highways causing great inconvenience to the general public. Haryana’s deputy CM also doubted the objective of making Haryana the focal point of protest and when participants are Punjab, Rajasthan and UP.
